Whether you’re waiting to meet your baby for the first time, holding them in those hazy newborn days, or gathering the whole family together for the first time in years, these moments matter.
I’m Lauren, the photographer behind Marley & The Wildlings Photography, based in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. My style is relaxed, documentary and real, no awkward posing, no forced smiles, just genuine connection, real laughter, and the little details you’ll want to remember forever.
I work across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and surrounding areas including Mansfield, Chesterfield, Newark, Worksop, Matlock, and the Peak District, although I’m happy to travel further afield for the right job.

My maternity photography sessions are all about celebrating you exactly as you are right now, whether that’s in the final weeks before birth or earlier in your journey.
I offer outdoor maternity sessions across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, in beautiful natural locations where you can relax and enjoy the moment, and also at home maternity sessions
We’ll capture a mix of flattering portraits and candid, heartfelt images that feel timeless.
Maternity Sessions
A maternity photography session with me is completely laid back and centred around you feeling comfortable. There’s no pressure to pose perfectly or “perform”, instead, I gently guide you and focus on capturing natural moments between you and your partner as you get ready to welcome your baby. Whether we’re in a peaceful Nottinghamshire woodland, a scenic Derbyshire hillside, or your own home, the aim is for you to feel at ease, enjoy the experience, and have photographs that reflect the real connection you share in this special chapter.

I offer at home newborn sessions across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and surrounding areas, so you and your baby can stay cosy and comfortable. There’s no need to worry about perfect outfits or poses, I focus on natural, emotive images that capture the connection between you and your little one.
Whether it’s sleepy snuggles, feeding moments, or proud siblings meeting their baby brother or sister, these sessions are about documenting real life beautifully.
Newborn Sessions
My newborn photography sessions are slow, gentle, and baby-led, because these early days are for soaking in every little detail, not rushing through them. I’ll come to your home in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire so you can stay cosy and relaxed, capturing natural, unposed moments like sleepy snuggles, proud sibling introductions, and quiet feeding time. The focus is always on your connection as a family and preserving the warmth of those first weeks together.

Your family won’t always look exactly like it does right now, and that’s the beauty of it. My small family sessions are perfect for capturing your everyday connections, the way you laugh together, and those in between moments that often go unnoticed.
These shoots are relaxed and fun, designed to make even the most camera shy family member feel at ease. We can shoot at your home, in your garden, or in a location you love — whether that’s a woodland walk, the local park, or a favourite picnic spot.
Small Family Sessions
Family life is messy, wonderful, and constantly changing, and my family photography sessions are designed to celebrate exactly that. Whether we’re exploring a favourite Nottinghamshire park, walking in the Derbyshire countryside, or spending time in your own garden, the session is relaxed, fun, and full of genuine laughter. I’ll guide you just enough to keep things flowing, but the best images come from the real interactions between you and the people you love most. The “Small Family’ session is designed for immediate family/same household family members.

I make these sessions as easy and enjoyable as possible, guiding you through a mix of group shots, natural moments, and smaller breakouts (so everyone gets their time in front of the camera).
