I’ve always believed animals have their own kind of magic. The way a dog’s eyes light up when they see you, the gentle nuzzle of a horse on a frosty morning, the curious tilt of a lamb’s head, or the quiet power of a wild creature seen up close. My pet and animal photography is about capturing that magic, their quirks, their spirit, and the connection they share with the people who love them.
From beloved family pets in Nottinghamshire gardens, to working farm animals in Derbyshire fields, to once in a lifetime encounters on safari (manifesting this) — if it has fur, feathers, or scales, I’m there with my camera (and probably talking to them as if they understand every word).

I work at their pace, whether that means playing fetch for half an hour to get the perfect dog shot, waiting quietly for a horse to relax into the moment, or following a cat who insists on showing me every corner of the garden before striking a pose.
