Fresh air, wide open spaces, and the freedom for children to just be themselves. This gorgeous early morning session with the Chu family at Black Rocks was filled with laughter, climbing, exploring, and all the little in between moments that make family photography so meaningful.
My family sessions are never about stiff poses or forced smiles. They’re about connection, adventure, and documenting the joy of simply being together. The Peak District is one of my favourite backdrops for this — with its dramatic landscapes and hidden corners, it always adds a touch of magic to a relaxed, storytelling session.
